    Gently remove excess dirt and debris from the wound area. If wound is cleansed with water, blot dry or let air dry for one minute. Apply liberally to affected area once or twice daily, or as often as needed, until healing takes place. Move hair or fur out of the way to apply product directly to the wound and beyond the wound edges. Do not rinse or wipe off. For the spray gel, spray from a distance of 2-4 inches directly at the wound and allow to dry naturally.

    How often do I re-apply Silver Honey®? Reapply Silver Honey® to the wound area daily until it is healed, be sure to apply the product beyond the wound edges.

    Does Silver Honey® work on fungal infections?Yes – Silver Honey® has been proven effective on fungi that causes Ringworm (Trichophyton equinum) and on the fungus that contributes to scratches (Sporotrichum schenki).

    Does Silver Honey® work on bacterial infections? Yes – Silver Honey® has been proven effective on the bacteria that causes Rain Rot (Dermatophilus congolesis and Microsporun equinum), and on bacteria known for causing wound inflammation (Pseudomonas aeruginosa).

    Is Silver Honey® supposed to be grey?Because it combines Manuka Honey with  MicroSilver BG®, Silver Honey® has a smooth, creamy texture that is not sticky. We recommend that you pull your pet’s hair aside and apply the ointment directly to their skin.

    Should I leave the area covered or uncovered after applying Silver Honey® ? Both the ointment and spray gel may be used with or without wrapping, based on body location and type of wound. If you're treating a hot spot, rash, or another condition that would heal better with air flow, we recommend trimming the hair around the target area, applying Silver Honey®, and leaving it uncovered. If you're treating a cut or gash that should be kept covered to stay clean, then wrapping may be appropriate. If you're not sure what approach to take, check with your veterinarian!

    How long does this take to dry?In order to keep the wound moisturized and promote healing, our Silver Honey® liquid spray gel never dries completely. However, it will quickly "surface dry" so that it won't be wet, dripping, or running. Exact drying times depend on the wound, the animal (shaved, short hair, long hair, skin dryness, etc.) and environmental conditions. If you're looking for another option, you can use the Silver Honey® ointment, but only if you're able to touch the wound and apply a generous amount.

    What is the difference between MicroSilver BG and Colloidal Silver?Colloidal silver, also called “silver water,” has a mean particle size of around 50 nanometers. At 10 microns, the mean size of MicroSilver BG® particles is larger. Due to this difference in size, MicroSilver BG® remains on the surface of the skin to provide continuous antibacterial support, while colloidal silver does not.

    Silver honey for dogs

    Absolutely love this product. Helps heal so fast. I use a combo of the wipes cream and spray depending on the area for the dogs. My pits have been battling yeast/ringworm/allergies type skin rashes. Cleared up completely after starting 10ish days ago with remembering every other day. Also Washed the worse dog with there bath wash. My favorite products for dogs skin. I keep it in stock for when ever they need. Cuts all fungal or bacterial spread right away

    Silver honey works

    My dog has had a rash on one leg for a long time. I finally got it to begin healing with regular honey. I thought I would try your product, it works! The rash is clearing up rapidly! I will definitely wil be a customer and keep some on hand
